Flip flops for the girls! How I wish weddings I went to had offered these! They'll make dancing into the wee hours a blast!
Frames
I like how these frames are used to dress up the tables and also offer guests tidbits of info.
Lounges
We'd like to try to get at least one lounge area for guests to take a break from dancing. This photo is from a wedding at Saddlerock Ranch at the tree near the tennis court. I like the casual bench setup.
Yummy Desserts
I recently blogged about having a dessert bar instead of a wedding cake. Well today I came across Sweet and Saucy Shop. Their desserts look so cute and yummy! Their treats look great with a creatively designed tablescape. Take a look at some of their creations.
Floating candles
I found these great floating candles that can be used in the little pool that guests have to pass going from the cocktail area to the reception. They're sold in a box of 20 for $38 and last from 6-7 hours.
Keeping the guests warm
Our wedding is outdoors in the evening so one concern is making sure the guests don't get too cold. We'll definitely have a couple heat lamps. Another idea is to offer throws to the ladies who will probably be in sleeveless dresses. Ikea offers the Irma throw for just $2.29. You can't buy it online and only in the store. The only color on the website is a blue but hopefully it comes in different colors. The throws can be tied up in ribbon and offered in a half open treasure chest type of box.
